Re: the new DGFF 7 aside football.... All well & good, but one problem, makes lif very dificult for us to organise hurling training.
Who ever is in charge in setting up, please allow at least 1.5 hours of pitch time (with goal posts) for hurling training before/after each football event at whatever venue. Also participation in hurling training of other "football" clubs should be encouraged.
Regards,
John Forde

Any details for Saturday
Fair play to you on the forum Matty.
I heard the first round of the DGFF 7 aside was this week Saturday March 1. Does anyone have any details on that? What time? Will there be time for hurling?

Re: new DGFF 7 aside football
Just a reminder and a message to anyone who couldnt make training last night, the is a match against Amsterdam this saturday at the WRC. We are meeting at 2.00pm and the game will kick of at 2:30pm.
Also there is the first Hurling training of the year after the game, something that is vital for everyone involved to attend, as the first tournament is going to be in 5 or 6 weeks which means a max of 7 or 8 sessions to prepare. Anyone who wishes to start playing hurling is more than welcome and we have all the equipment needed to get started.
Cya's all Saturday

Re: new DGFF 7 aside football
Hi All,
Good to see that the Den Haag GAA club are involved with the 7 a side DGFF competition. However as John Forde already stated if possible try to organise the 7-a-side to compliment not compete with hurling training. If possible use it as a recruitment option for hurlers, afterall we are the only hurling team in The Netherlands. Wishing everyone in Den Haag GAA and Holland Ladies Gaelic footballers a successful 2008,
Denis.
